Well, it looks like my host did some maintenance and my gallery may have been a casualty. I’m not sure when I’ll have a chance to look at. Hopefully, this weekend…
I’m very disappointed in “the system” right now. My sister’s family may get torn apart because of an oversight and it is really pissing me off.
You see my sister is married to a legal immigrant…or he WAS a legal immigrant. He’s been living in the states, legally for several years. He worked, paid taxes, learned the language. He’s a good guy. He recently got pulled over for having a broken tail light. When they ran him through the system, they noticed that he had moved and didn’t update immigration with his new address.
Come On Vamanos…
Everybody Let’s Go…
Where are we going?
Tall Mountain!
Where are we going?
Tall Mountain!
Where are we going?
Tall Mountain!
Come on let’s get to it…
I know that you can do it!
I have been extremely dilatory with regards to my blog. I extend my utmost apologies. It isn’t for lack of content…quite simply, lack of time.
I hope to catch up soon…
For accountability purposes, here are a few topics I’ve been meaning to post on:
…I’m sure there is more, but that can get it started.
Do you ever have the gut feeling that something just isn’t right? I’ve had that feeling since yesterday afternoon. I can’t put my finger on it. I just have a feeling like something is wrong or something bad is going to happen. Really, everything in my life is going very well. My job is OK, my home life is very good…I don’t have any idea what it could be.
I’m going to do my best not to dwell on it…but it is going to be hard. The feeling is very strong.
A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her.
Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye flies out of its socket towards the man.
He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air, and hands it back.
”Oh my, I am so sorry,” the woman says as she pops her eye back in place.
“Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you,” she says.
They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theater followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens.
After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast.
They had a wonderful, wonderful time.
The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy is amazed! Everything had been SO incredible!
“You know,” he said, “you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet? ”
“No, ” she replies. . . . . . ”
